A little bit of humour brightens up your day! The School of Business and Enterprise is full of engaging, interesting and entertaining staff. Staff profiles show the professional side of our staff and they all have excellent academic backgrounds to help you on your path to achievement however they also all have big personalities, and when you get to know them this will become apparent.
Being a lecturer means you must be a performer, you may think that they just stand up and speak, not so! Hard work, research and preparation are hte key to good lecturing. The other task they take extremely serious is their role as your personal tutor.

Your personal tutor will be your main point of contact within the Shool, if you don't know who this is by now please get in touch, however be aware of all the other support that is there for you. Programme leaders, administrative staff, our Student Enhancement Developer, Jane Kerr and our Education Guidance Adviser, Fiona Garry. The office staff are always very friendly and can usually point you in the right direction!
It would be lovely if each day you could plan your routine, however we all know that life has a habit of throwing us a curve ball, life would be no fun without a few surprises!
At UWS we have contingency plans for the unexpected and we truly want to support you, make contact with your personal tutor just to say hello, get to know them so that if the unexpected happens and you need their support they have a bit of back ground to you as an individual, and vice versa. 
If we had a Crystal Ball would life be simpler?........................maybe not, just different
We truly want you to succeed and we hope to engage and encourage you to do so by promoting all the exciting things that are happening in the University that will motivate you to be the best you have ever been.
